Threadify at BCGTX 2026: Building Strong Relation with Textile Industry Professionals

From May 14th to 16th Threadify participated in the Bangladesh Garment & Textile Exhibition (BCGTX) 2026, held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. The three-day event brought together industry leaders, manufacturers, buyers, and suppliers from across Bangladesh and beyond.

Threadify Products & Platform on Display

We showcased a curated selection of knit fabrics, woven fabrics, and sweater yarn, from the strategic location of Booth No H1 09 &10. Alongside these physical displays, we conducted a live demonstration of the Threadify platform and our digital trading solution for fabric, yarn, and textile trims; available both as a website and a mobile app.

Visitors responded positively to the platform, with many appreciating the fact that every product on display at our booth, along with thousands of additional listings, can be accessed by anyone, anywhere, directly through the Threadify platform.

Strong Client Interest Across Product Categories

The final day of the exhibition proved to be our busiest, with a notable increase in client visits and product enquiries. Demand was particularly high knit fabrics; specifically for fleece, single jersey (S/J), interlock, scuba, and rib constructions. Woven fabrics also generated significant enquiries, with flannel, yarn-dyed (Y/D) poplin, sherpa, wool, and blend woven varieties attracting considerable attention from buyers.

Building Strong Industry Relationships

Beyond product showcasing, BCGTX provided a valuable opportunity to connect with buyers, sourcing professionals, and industry peers face to face. Our clients ranged from merchandisers, factory owners, textile company executives and buying houses management. The diversity of interest across industry professionals was encouraging and underscored the importance of a unified platform where buyers can efficiently discover and source the right materials.
