On November 28, Threadify welcomed innovators, suppliers, fabric buyers, designers, and textile leaders from across the industry as we hosted the 7th China International New Fiber Industry Chain Expo alongside the Materials Innovation and Fashion Development Forum at the ‘Threadify Fashion Complex’ in Keqiao.

With the theme “From Fiber to Fashion,” the event became a powerful gathering point for the entire textile value chain—where cutting-edge fiber technologies, fabric innovations, design thinking, and global supply-chain insights converged under one roof.

The keynote session set the tone for the day, featuring five industry leaders who brought perspectives spanning fiber R&D, material innovation, fashion creation, and global supply-chain evolution.
Dr. Zhai Shixiong — Pushing the Boundaries of Fiber Research
Representing the Shaoxing Keqiao Research Institute of Tianjin University of Technology, Dr. Zhai opened the forum with an introduction to the institute’s R&D focus areas and transformative projects. His insights highlighted how fundamental research continues to fuel the pace of material innovation.

Ji Liuyan — Reimagining Bamboo Fiber with Yunzhu®
In a captivating talk titled “Yunzhu® — How New Generation Bamboo Fiber Drives Brand Innovation with Chinese Material Technology and Culture,” Ji Liuyan of Shanghai Zhongzhen Fiber Technology showcased how bamboo-based fibers can merge cultural identity with technological advancement, creating both functional and emotional value for brands.

Huang Guangyao — When Function Becomes a Brand Story
As President of Suzhou Shengwang New Material Technology, Huang Guangyao demonstrated how functional materials can evolve into compelling brand narratives—showing how innovation becomes meaningful when it communicates purpose.

Huang Zhiguan — Uniting Fabric Function and Aesthetic Value
Speaking from his experience designing next-generation bamboo fiber fabrics for Yunzhu®, Huang Zhiguan emphasized the importance of connecting real fashion needs—especially in high-end womenswear—with the functional breakthroughs of new fibers.

Wang Juan — Threadify’s Vision for a Connected Industry Chain
Threadify’s Vice General Manager, Wang Juan, introduced how the platform is reshaping the textile supply chain through a digital ecosystem.
From yarn and fabric sourcing to finished garments, Threadify builds an industrial closed loop, supported by a digital fabric & accessory supermarket, global logistics partners, and overseas warehouse networks—offering brands and suppliers a more agile and globally connected way to collaborate.

Design Launch & Roundtable Discussion Shaping the Future
The event continued with the China Top Ten Designers Material Innovation Collaboration Fashion Outdoor Launch Show, where elite designers, supply-chain leaders, and brand innovators shared their views on fabric trends, outdoor apparel evolution, and design-material integration.
During the roundtable forum, speakers dove into real-world challenges—technical bottlenecks, global market demands, and future opportunities—creating a grounded yet inspiring dialogue for attendees.

The event reached its peak during the exhibition area visit.
Guided by Threadify representatives, attendees explored:
