Threadify Launches “Weaving Forward”: A Fashion Design Talent Program Bridging Creativity and Market Reality
January 11, 2026 | Announcement
Threadify Designer Fabric Lab (DFL) is proud to announce the launch of “Weaving Forward,” its first market-oriented fashion design talent program created for students pursuing fashion design and related disciplines. More than a talent hunt program, Weaving Forward is a platform designed to guide young designers from concept to commercialization—transforming creative vision into real, wearable, and market-ready apparel.
Centered around three modern lifestyle scenarios—loungewear, outdoor activewear, and yoga wear—the first season of the program challenges participants to design with both creativity and commercial fashion season (Spring/Summer 2026-2027) in mind.
The name Weaving Forward reflects the essence of the program:
“Weaving” symbolizes materials, craftsmanship, and structure, while “Forward” represents the path a design takes from imagination to the marketplace. Through standardized guidance, production support, and tangible realization, Threadify aims to cultivate long-term creative value and identify emerging designers with strong practical skills and market insight.
